go ice skating

well, It’s not like riding a bike, I’ll tell yout that. I finally went thursday, and had to take it easy the first time around. I’m used to having a pond all to myself though, and the deep gouges in the ice and the other people (esp. the little ones) made it a bit more difficult. I’m really proud of DH. he made it around several times, and even went some without clinging to the edge.

we’re going tonight. I don’t care how long the lines are, I’m skating!

snow and Ice kept us from going to the rink Saturday, and we actually went to the rink on sunday, but it was crowded, and the line for admission was really long as well. so we didn’t skate…. we’ll have to see about this next weekend.

I was planning on doing this thursday, but that won’t work out now. maybe on saturday, as it’ll be too cold out to really do anything productive.

I feel like I’ve got to get this done while it’s still (supposed to be) cold. Since we’re using up the entertainment budget this month on a trip to atlanta, I’d like do this on our valentine’s date.

I always hope my husband will buy me some skates for christmas.
