It ended up being mostly a social inconvenience. And if that’s why I eat fast food, eh, it’s not worth giving up.

It’s been three weeks. I am not eating healthier and I am not cooking more. I think that a lazy person, when presented with inconvenience, is just going to find different ways to be lazy.
Two or three times this week I was out running errands and got hungry. It was really, REALLY hard to go home and make something. But I did. The lesson here is to make food when I have the energy and chill/freeze it for quick access when I do get hungry. But will I do that? I dunno…
I am not really eating healthier, but I am gaining some kitchen experience. Yesterday I realized that making a delicious Chipotle-style burrito is ridiculously easy. That’s a plus.
I ate at Steak and Shake today, which is arguably fast food. I ate there because I had a meeting with someone that started at 10 pm – after everything else was closed – and, truthfully, I didn’t even think about my fast food fast. So, whether it technically counts as a violation or not I dunno, but I’ll try not to do it again.
I’m starting today. No fast food for 30 days. So, day one, pretty easy; I’m eating leftovers. I’ll let you know how it goes.
