So, I’m finally at the point where I know I need to push myself to be more active and I need to bring my lunch to work and cut down on calories. BOY, is it hard! I’ve done it before and got out of the habit after a breakup and just kind of did what I wanted until I started worrying about a few pounds I had put on and my fibroid.

I’m back in my routine – cooking at home, counting calories and fat and exercising more. I’ve been going to yoga, walking during the week on my nights off from yoga and have added a Saturday morning run into the mix. Pretty soon I will be starting adult ballet classes (YAY!) and will keep up with that. The classes are near my new place and are pretty cheap! I just hope they are challenging enough, which at first, I’m sure they will be!

Anyhow – keeping with this – I’m not marking it complete until I know that I’m staying with this and in fact, I may never say this one is complete because I have to keep on being good to myself and my health! That never ends! :)



Doing it, well. 3 years ago

Ok, so I have been going to the doctor when I am supposed to and following up with things and it seems to be paying off. Other than one thing that is bothering me about a recent appointment I am definitely taking better care of my health and myself. I am back in the gym swing of things, taking my favorite yoga class, eating better, drinking less and spending lots of quality time with myself. Loving myself is the best way to take care of myself and my health. I am going to keep this one on my list so I can follow-up. :)
