make a silent film for my vlog

Shortly after telling Marianne about my desire to make a silent film, she called me up. She had a plot that came to her in a dream. It is weird, but quite funny.

On March 8th we taped the first half. It was so great to be taping little skits again. I’ve missed it so much.

We edited a bit and then let it sit for a while. On Saturday March 24th she came over and we edited a bit more. We also talked about concepts for the next shots and people we will need as extras. She also mentioned the character names how how much fun they would be to tape as a series and put them on youtube and such.

Yeah!! I’m quite excited about getting this done. The first half is mostly edited, but there are still a lot of steps to take. I need to find a good place to get royalty free ragtime music and fine-tune the editing a bit more. I want it to look like old-time footage, but not distort it too much.

This goal was meant for February, then it moved to March. We won’t be done though at least until the middle of April.

Oh well, at least we are getting things done!

I haven’t made the time to create a stoyline. It doesn’t have to be all that complicated, but I want it to be interesting.

The challenge will be so fun! This upcoming week I am going to work at Temp Jobs. The days there is nothing I will devote to projects such as this.

Technically I did this goal. I sped up some parts and made it quirky. It reminds me of one of those home videos from the 60s.

I’ll still attempt this goal later. I want to write out a script and add some ragtime music. Plus I’ll have to come up with some goofy title card for the “spoken” words.
