finish my degree

I’m officially back in school. My first class is over one week from today and I’m on track to get an A! If everything goes according to plan, I’ll graduate this November!

Two of my books arrived today! Class starts next week. It’s looking more and more like I’m really going to do this!

I don’t know why I never did this before! Each class only takes five weeks. At this rate, I will have my degree before the end of the year!

All my paperwork did not arrive at the University in time for spring admission. So, I’ve applied to another school to finish my degree online. If I’m accepted, I think I can graduate this year.

My application is being processed. I have to submit one item of “additional documentation” and then…wait.

and waiting…

According to the school, that is how long it takes to make a decision.

My official transcript came in today. I ordered two. One for myself and one to forward (in the original, sealed envelope, of course) to the school. It’s already in the mail!

I have found this to be a very effective motivator for any type of goal. I just e-mailed my mom and announced that I’m going back to school. No doubt, she will be asking me about this and it would give me such a terrible feeling to have to say that I’ve deceided to not pursue this after all.

I submitted my application online this morning. I feel like I’m committed now! Not sure how long the review and approval process takes but I’m sure I’ll be checking the status pretty regularly.
