well, i took out my mom’s old sewing machine yesterday, and the directions were all in French!!! i managed to follow the pictures and looked up some info online and i learned how to thread a bobbin, and managed to sew a straight line!!! I also attempted to follow this tutorial i found on craftster to make a pair of gaucho pants, but they failed miserably. One of the legs was wider than the other, and i accidentally went crazy and sewed the crotch part together all the way down to mid-thigh!!!

I’m still super excited though! i can’t wait to try to make something else (that’s functional)
