I’m going to finish Part One before I go on maternity leave. I’m struggling to understand things right now and don’t think corresponding this with my last three months of pregnancy is smart. I’m sure I could do it, I’m just not sure it’s worth the use of time.
I hope to finish chapter seven of 10 today and then get the last three chapters out of the way by October.
It will be my goal “after baby” to complete the second part.

So I got a notice that they’ve updated the course and I have until November 16 to finish—or I have to do a huge review and relearn all the new material.
To be honest it’s a good “end date” as we’re expecting our first baby—due Nov 30 and I can’t imagine taking an exam much closer to the final date than Nov 16.
Yeeks, have to get started!

I find this course so tough, that’s probably why it’s taken me a year to get 1/4 of the way through it. I don’t have the deep business or economic background to breeze through it so every concept is a new learning.
I enjoy the learning and feel, when I watch the business channel or read the business section in the newspaper, that I understand it a lot better than I did before.
But now I’m pregnant and I NEED to get it done by Nov 30—when I stop being an employee for a while and start being a mother.
So back to work!

As part of my new great job, I am doing the Canadian Securities Course. Two textbooks, two exams, one year to do it. I finished reading and taking notes on the first chapter—lots to learn but none of it particularly shocking or surprising.
