I have been struggling with the return of asthma in the last few months. I haven’t had breathing problems since I was a kid. But now, especially with the cold weather, running is out of the question.

I guess this goal is on hiatus for now.

I haven’t been running much. The weather and pressure from work provided easy excuses. I did go for a 25-minute jog two days ago, and felt much better, but I need to do more!

track closed at the gym  — 1 year ago

so I haven’t been at all this week and it shows (less energy, more negativity)

went running twice this week  — 1 year ago

...and I’m still alive! I ran on the indoor track at the gym on Sunday and Tuesday. I felt much better after the run on Tuesday – no headache and not sore the next day. Hooray!

I ran two miles on the indoor track at the gym – it’s too cold to run outside. I’m slow. and now I have a headache…that happens a lot when I run. I think I need to hydrate more a few hours before I go.

however, now I feel energized. I know it will get easier. I hope to run 2-3 times per week.

Update: I realized my headache/nausea was probably because I was sweating so much and only drinking water. I drank some gatorade and felt much much better!
