Find $100 in change

Finally, I have reached this goal!! I used some unconventional rules, but most of it was found legitimately and I found the last quarter in the most unlikely of places… in the washing machine filter! We had a problem with our washer, and my wonderful husband fixed it and told me that ‘coins’ and other items came out of the filter… well, I got brave enough to dump some of the nasty water out of the bucket and grab- a quarter! I washed it with soapy water, and I can now check this goal off!! I may do it again someday. But, for now, I’ll continue to look for change and any found money will go in my little piggy bank on my dresser and once it’s full, it’ll be counted up and tacked on to whatever debt payment I think would be best at the time.

I found 40 cents in the coffee machine return!!

If I don’t achieve this before vacation, there’s something wrong! I’m going to be scavenging like mad! This goal was actually pretty fun. May do it again. And I have started a piggy bank where JUST found change goes. When it’s full, it’ll go toward paying off a debt.

Actually, the find was made yesterday as a result of hubby and I cleaning in our room… a little piggy bank about half-full of change that I swear is his, but he doesn’t remember and declared it OURS, so I am counting it! It amounts to: $15.28!!! I am REALLY in the home stretch now. I will be looking more than ever now to find change! :)
