i just reached the end of my intermediate spanish class, and it actually makes me really sad. I’m truly going to miss that class (i know i know… i never showed up for that class but still, the people were just great). i think this summer, i’m going to try to sit in on some of maureen’s classes when i can to try to review.
i know a lot, but when it comes to speaking, i freak! hah… i can say I know more than I did before definitely. i’m so happy i took spanish class. i met one of the best teachers in the world and i made a friend through it :)
i’m not sure when i can really mark off this goal. maybe when i fully understand how to use most of the verbs and not be confused by them. Also, i need to understand the construction a bit more of sentences. i can put really simple sentences together, but more than that, and i kind of freak out. hah. i know lots of words, it is just tough putting them together sometimes.
i’m still going to study it, i don’t want to lose what i have already learned about the language.

i did a presentation in my spanish class on a comic, and i didn’t read off of a tiny piece of paper like i usually do! that’s a step up! i had notes on some new words i couldn’t remember, but that was about it.
i was sitting watching the spanish channel, and they had their version of desperate housewives. i could understand most of it! that made me feel really good!
i think something i really need to work on would be conjugating the different types of verbs. such as present, past, condicional, future, oh so many more tenses. haha. I just need to try and study them more.

I understand so much more of what the teacher is saying. Even though it might take me a few seconds to register what she said, after she said it, I’m still able to understand. Also, words are coming to my mind. I can match them up now somewhat. Something I could barely do at all last semester. I feel like I am greatly improving but I still have such a long way to go.

I am actually in an intermediate Spanish course at my college. Elementary Spanish was a breeze, and the 1st day entering intermediate, I seriously feel like the dumbest one in the class. hah. Well, there are 3 native speakers in there, which my teacher loves because she doesn’t have to look up something on the internet too much anymore. it just intimidates me a little bit.
I’m great with the grammar in Spanish, but when it comes to speaking it, or recalling certain words, i am just horrible. i guess i should lay off the grammar a bit and start studying my vocab more.
i can say, i have greatly improved since i took elementary Spanish. i can read and understand some things i used to never be able to understand before. so, I’m still working’ on it.
