Well, I was in my family support group at school and my group leader was talking about cutting, and usual cravings for cutting (and other things too) lasts about 15 minutes, so we made these comfort kits with a timer and things to do to get our minds off cutting. So you put the timer on for 15 minutes and do the things in your kit (drawing, puzzle), put lotion on the spot you wanted to cut and keep doing those until your craving is gone.
