So I’ve started working on this again.
In the past, I would do sit ups every night, increase them every once in a while. I got to the point where I was doing 1,100 sit ups a night. Did A LOT of sit ups every other night for probably around 8 months. Didn’t get the results I wanted.
Now I feel like I’m better educated about how to work out properly, so I’m trying again. I do a lot of leg lifts and bicycles now, and I can really feel my abs burning. When I used to do a lot of sit ups, I never felt a burn like this.

Well, it’s my first year on the swim team. Maybe being on the swim team will do this for me :]

I gave up on this goal a couple of months ago, after I had done tons of sit ups (sometimes over 1,000) every other night for a year and didn’t see the results I wanted.
Although now I’m thinking about starting again. If I do it will be after soccer season.
I would have to figure out other exercises to do though. Doing 1,000 sit ups is wayy too time consuming for me, I don’t have a lot of free time.

I’ve been falling behind on this.
I’ve been swimming a lot lately to get in shape for the lifeguard course, so I haven’t had much time for sit ups.
And sit ups are just so boring.
Isn’t there an easier way?
If I swim a lot, like swim 2 miles a week (one mile one day, one mile another day), do you think that’d get me abs eventually?
Sometimes after I swim a whole lot, my abs feel sort of worked.
What do you guys think?
Cause I don’t think I can stand to keep doing 500 sit ups every other night, because it’s boring, time consuming, and I don’t see a wholllee lotta progress from it lately.

Soo since spring sports are starting, I don’t have time to do 900 sit ups every 4 nights. So instead, I’m doing 450 sit ups every other night. Much more do-able.

I can’t do my sit ups tonight because I’m really sick.
Sucks.

Did my 300 lowers and 600 regular sit ups.
The abs are starting to look great.
I found that it’s nice to listen to music as you’re doing sit ups, so it’s not like ‘OMG I still have 500 more sit ups to go!’ Because your mind’s off it because of the music.

So as you know if you read my previous entries, a week or two ago, I was starting to get chest pains when I tried doing sit ups. A guy on here said it was from over working myself. So I had to take a week and a half break from working out.
Although the break was kinda nice, it felt good to get back on track tonight. 300 lowers and 600 full sit ups.

Couldn’t do my sit ups tonight.
I’ve been getting these weird chest pains lately when I work out, but usually it was just during push ups. But today, I was starting to do my sit ups, and after 2 or 3 sit ups, the pain in my chest was too much, and I was just like, there’s no way I’m going to be able to do 997 more sit ups…
My mom’s a nurse so I’m gonna ask her about it when she gets home. Hopefully this chest pain thing doesn’t last long so I can get back to doing my sit ups and stuff.
I ended up doing leg lifts tonight because those don’t make me have the chest pains, but leg lifting gives you no where near as good as a work out as 1,000 sit ups…

Well last night I did 700 full sit ups, 300 lowers, and 2 minutes of leg lifting. About 1,000 sit ups all together, because I find the lowers more tiring than the full sit ups, because they go by faster than the full sit ups so you get tired faster.
I was pretty damn tired by the end of that. It took me about an hour and 10 minutes. But I felt really accomplished when I finished.
