I’m 15. I’ve wanted my own laptop for years. Since I was 12 I wanted an alienware. But now I think I want a macbook pro. MBP won’t get as many viruses and stuff, and it can run windows.
I was never much of a mac fan, but now that they can run windows, it’s like a windows laptop that isn’t as crappy.
I will probably get the 15” w/ the 2.4 GHz, except upgrade the hard drive to a 7,200 RPM instead of a 5,400 RPM. $2,649.
Although I have one question. Should I get glossy or non glossy screen?
Hopefully I make enough money this summer to get one. My goal is to make around $4,000. Then I can buy the MBP and maybe get an xbox 360 too. I have 3 jobs for the summer so I should be able to make that much.
Will either be ordering it at the end of summer or in October when the new OSX comes out. Because it’s likely that they’re going to upgrade the Macs for the new OSX, so then I should wait till October.
Although I’m going to Ireland in August and it would be cool to have a laptop to bring with me on the trip. Oh well. I should wait till October for the new stuff.
