With all the travel I have done in the last couple weeks I have really let the diet slip. Gaining 7 pounds in 2 weeks. Ouch! Time to refocus and get back under 230, currently 235.7 pounds.
I had a good few weeks there and was at 228.7 at the end of last week. But it was really hard to diet while traveling over the weekend and I weighed in at 230.5 this morning when I checked up on myself. Have to refocus and get it going again.
Not an easy goal! My family and I have started a bit of a competition to get to our ideal wieghts. Been going for two months now and I have to say I am kicking ass. Started two months ago at 268 pounds, which on a 6’1” frame was okay but overweight. Today I weighed in at 233.5, 35 pounds in two months. “How do you do it?” you ask? Well I eat less than I did and continue my normal exercise. I have found counting calories is really the only way to be successful. Sure I give myself permission to have a good meal out every few weeks but I stick to 1400 calories a day the rest of the time. Still trying to get to about 210 so I have a ways to go.
God this losing weight thing is hard. Good for a day here and there but have not made myself stick with it continuously.
