Well, I applied to Volunteers for Peace. If I get accepted the program would only be two weeks long, but hey, going abroad is a big deal for an extremely poor child like me. :D AND I get to help out animals/the environment while I’m there. It’d be so exciting. The only bad part is: it puts the chance of getting a degree even further behind, but I’ve always cared more about seeing the world/various adventures than a “career,” anyway. I have a lot of wanderlust and I don’t even know if I really, truly want one (that can only be obtained by getting a degree.)
I’m a fairly firm believer in self-education.
