I need HELP! 2 years ago

I would love to go to Rome next summer with me and a few friends, but i want to go somewhere that isnt tourist-y. Me and my friends want to go to clubs and bars, but we also want to be able to see all of the amazing sites and attractions. We are trying to find cheap housing/hotel but we are having trouble. Does anyone have any suggestions??
