I’ve been riding a couple miles around my neighborhood the last few evenings. It’s already getting slightly easier to get up those hills. And the excersize rush feels amazing. I was going to give up on my goal in my regular 43 things but now I feel like maybe I COULD eventally go on longer rides for transportation.
I rode my bike to my friend’s house yesterday. I hate living in the valley! Everywhere I go, I have to go up a mile of steep hill. I thought I was going to die.
I live in the middle of nowhere and I’m not in great shape (I get a moderate amount of excersize but I have asthma) so I don’t know how feasible it would be to expect to ride to work or anything, but I can at least ride near my house.
