had my gait assessed today and bought some decent running shoes – also got some better support for the girls ;)

Finally got to the gym today to start and discovered a nice blister on my heel. sigh I am determined to overcome these setbacks. 30 minutes at 3.5 mph. Plan on this for another week, then start a program on the machine. Rode my bike 6 miles today for additional strength and cardio.
All of my life I have struggled with running. Now I am finally ready to take on this goal. I plan to do a 15 week program that is adapted from the Runner’s World website. I have a great local gym and my husband and friends are all runners, so I feel lot’s of support. Weeks one and two are simply about getting up and getting to the gym to walk and get into the habit.
