last night I did 60 min of cardio, and tonight I also made it down for about 40 minutes of cardio.

Missed over a week of exercise, but feel like I can get back in the groove. I’m more concerned with somehow getting back out on my mtn bike. maybe tomorrow, but would have to be early…...not sure if I have that in me.



ebbs and flows 8 months ago

well, this past week has been totally off track. Got my period with a vengeance, and then got sick, nice! I did go to yoga on Tuesday, but pretty much haven’t done anything since. Oh well!
And I have dinner plans tonight and tomorrow, which will make it hard to fit in much of a work out. Dang. Well, I’m going to get going again somehow…

I have been exercising regularly, pretty much since the start of 2009, so that’s a month and a half. I see results. My clothes are fitting looser, my muscles are firmer, and just in the past few days I think I’ve noticed my stomach looking a bit slimmer :) Yay! It’s good for the mood too, and I’ve been sleeping pretty good. I missed my mtn bike ride last weekend due to rain, and today partly due to rain.. but I’ve been going to yoga, the gym, dance classes, working on push ups and handstands at home. I’m starting to feel like I need to take it to the next level, which would be?????

Longer bike ride? longer hikes on weekends? re-introducing jogging gradually?? Something to think about :)



Sunday, mini vacation right here at home 9 months ago

I had such a grand day on Sundday. I hit morning yoga, took a short nap after brunch, rode my mtn bike up the hill for 2 hours, came home, showered, watched the sunset, and then had a private swing lesson! Such a grand day. Should be back in biking shape in a few weeks if I keep this up. Last night tried a salsa lesson for the first time. I love feeling the muscle tone coming back.



Saturday Stairs 10 months ago

Did some laps on the stairs, walked along the beach, took in the amazing weather and sunset. Was out for an hour and a half! Did 8 push ups!



friday yoga 10 months ago

I had the best yoga class tonight, it’s my funky friday class, with flow yoga, core strengthening, and then trance dancing. I was sooo o sweaty and had the most profound release of energy at the end of the class. I feel renewed! Wow!



2009 off to a good start 10 months ago

Yoga on Friday, 45 minutes elliptical saturday, 1 hour and half mtn bike ride on Sunday, 35 minutes elliptical tonight!!! Yeah.



December slump 10 months ago

It seems I’ve been exercising about once a week for this month. Shasta died, and I’ve yet to regain my composure. Wait, I wasn’t composed before either…well I guess I”m still looking for it. In search of self composure… to be continued. For this entry I will log that I did the elliptical for 35 minutes last weekend, and might go down tonight for a short stint. Ouch, this is a sad state.



saturday report 11 months ago

got my bike brakes fixed and rode around town on the streets, flat, but still a bit of a work out as I’m out of shape. Then did 30 minutes on the elliptical and a few free weights.

Feeling like I’ll get back into it soon. Need to hit a yoga class soon, and tomorrow, definitely biking up the hill!
