Feel more comfortable dressing feminine, classy, or elegant

I’m on a quest to find comfortable, and nice looking shoes for work. I ordered some online and am wearing them around the house to figure out which ones to keep and which ones to take back. And also got some stuff at Ross, lucked out and got a pair for work, some heels, some clogs, and one pair of flip flops…... Next task, I have three pair of dress pants that need to be hemmed when I figure out which shoes I will wear with them.

tonight I got a bunch of new clothes for work. dressier clothes than usual, I need some good dressy, but comfortable work shoes now. and the pants need to be hemmed, so I”m not done, but progress is under way.

I’ve been wearing my heels around the apartment…..for practice I suppose.

it’s been back to yoga attire, jeans, and the ultra casual fare. I seem to have lost my motivation to dress nicer. We’ll let this one stew a bit and see what happens after I get back from vacation! Perhaps spring weather will get me back on track… or I may need to hibernate and lay low…..to be determined.

and yes, I think I have actually been dressing better, but now to feel comfortable and have it not take as much effort. that is the next challenge. Also, I have some heels that are a challenge to walk in/wear, suppose I need to work up to wearing them and also finding the perfect outfit to wear them with. I need some basics for my wardrobe and would like to include that as part of this goal. i now have a pair of great black pumps. But I need a nice black dress that is feminine but also classy. The one’s I have now are marginal, not that nice, and also I bought most of my dresses over 5 years ago, theky should all probably go in the thrift store pile. anyways, to be continued.
