in its initial 10 weeks, i’m continuing to keep track of my weight weekly. My new mini-goal is to have lost 15-20 pounds by 20 weeks after the time that i adopted this goal.

I’m down 5 pounds. Overall, i’m down 2 pounds in 3 weeks. I’m glad i gave myself some leeway for the “bloaty” times, like last week!
I was minus one pound. It’s a start!
And, now that there’s no more snow on the ground (Should i knock on wood?), i’m doing more walking at work. (Before, i would take the shuttle if i had to go from my building to other parts of the compound campus for meetings . . . half a mile of walking in the snow in work shoes is brutal, at least for this delicate Southern girl.)
I’d like to lose more than a pound a week, but i want to keep it achievable. And with “on average,” if i don’t succeed one week, or i’m all bloaty, or whatever, i can make up for it the following week. And the weather is good enough now that i feel like playing outside, & i might feel like going to the gym sometimes after coming home from work, rather than just hibernating.
