replying to an e-mail from my sister, which she sent right after our over-an-hour phone conversation. Get two ADHD sisters on the phone who are very close, but haven’t talked to each other in forever: one of us was bound to forget to tell/ask the other something. Dang—just remembered something i meant to tell her!
I was hoping she would have more news about her visit to her new oncologist, but all she has heard is “Your CBC and thyroid were normal.” She’s almost 6 years out from her breast cancer diagnosis now, and hasn’t had any recurrence since she finished the whole chemo-mastectomy-radiation thing: my girlie is beating the odds!
And the nephews (My 15-year-old nephew is over 6 feet tall now!) and niece are doing great. :D
It was sooooooo good to talk to my sis, and to hear that drawl that i miss so much! (I’m not a bit homesick. Really.)
