get a masters degree

Found out last week that I passed my comps! yay! I have 2 field method courses this summer, then I’m done!

I have now officially completed my second semester of my masters in geosciences program. While finding the time for my schoolwork went alright, the courses were much more challenging this semester, and reminded me how difficult school can be if you aren’t always understanding the content. It definitely gave me a new perspective on my own teaching. Next semester: climatology and ocean science. I’m still enjoying it an looking forward to it.

first semester – done! Just 5 more to go. It’s been busy, but not too bad. I’m actually impressed with how well it went. And I’m enjoying the information. wahoo!

Financial aid is in place to start my masters program in the fall! Aug. 21 is the first day of classes! I’m excited!

Woohoo! I recieved my emailed notification of acceptance yesterday! I am on my way. How to pay for it? Not sure yet, but it’s a place to start! woohoo!

My application is complete – now I’m just waiting the verdict! It’s a little scary at this point isn’t it? It makes it real. (and exciting!)

I submitted my application, gave out my letters to my references, paid the application fee. I only have to request one more transcript and my application is complete! I’m excited!

Began my application yesterday. I want to get it in sooner rather than later, although it is not due until June. The sooner I turn it all in, the sooner they will get back to me they say!
