I can sign a bit, but it’s MCE (Manually-Coded ENglish, for those not in the know). It’s amazing to make things with your fingers: I knit and write, and there’s nothing quite like sharing something your fingers made. I think that’s so much of the draw of Sign Language to me. It’s a physical representation of things usually ethereal.
