find a job

I’m not officially on the team, but I’m pretty close. My new manager (so cool) is constantly telling me that I’ll be doing this and doing that in a few weeks just like any other regular employee. I’m so glad I went the temp agency route. I think I lucked up on this.

No, more like blessed. I’m a fortunate child of God.

OK, I slacked like hell over the real summer. I didn’t go anywhere, but I just enjoyed the luxury of working out when I wanted, sleeping as late as I wanted, and just getting my chill on after working so hard for those crazy kids.

Now, I’m getting more hardcore about my job search. I can’t wait until the end of August when I get my last check. Plus, I’m more motivated because some changes are coming. So, I’ve been awake all night with e-mailing my resume to some places. I’m also making plans for the next two days which involve business.

Damn it, it’s time to get back to the real world. I can’t wait to retire…and chill…and stuff.

I’m blessed to still receive three more teacher paychecks, so I can afford to go without for a little while. I’ll probably give myself a week of vacation before I become completely hardcore about the job search. I can’t chill too hard because I’m used to making money now. It would be sensational if I could make money from a new job while still getting teacher checks.
