make my own business cards

i made a few simple business cards tonight….and now it’s 2 45 in the morning. print shop sucks me in. anything on the computer sucks me in. anyway it was fun, i made the background in the gimp (with a plumeria brush downloaded from http://www.deviantart.com) and put my picture on it. all i put on them was my name, “hairstylist”, and my cell number. these are mostly just for practice. i only made 10. i’m going to get some glossy paper and i want to design something cool to put on them. that could take ages though so i will probably make some on the glossy paper using borrowed images. the print shop program has some decent layouts and images available.
i won’t mark this off my list as done yet, i’ll wait until i’ve made some on the glossy paper. i’m thinking i’ll make a few different designs…maybe i should make them for people and get paid! a lady at my salon does that. it’s something to think about… i need all the cash i can scrape together right now!
