Learn Spanish

cada vez que escribo una entrada de mi aprendizaje de español voy a escribir en español a partir de ahora!

... ya… I was suppose to go get my headset…......... But I still haven’t went and time keeps flying by happily…
SATURDAY I AM BUYING MY HEADSET AND GETTING BACK ON TRACK!

I’ve been learning anyway even without my lessons because my friend is teaching me all the time :) its kewl I like it when I can try to interact with someone almost on a daily basis.

I broke my headset/mic… for my rosetta program :( I’ll only be able to get one in about a week or so.
But to compensate for not doing my lessons this week, I’ll read my spanish/english lesson book and I’ll listen to the cds everytime I’m traveling…. and I have about 20 hours of planes/pratice coming up soon! :P

Woo! I’m almost done my full rosetta stone program :)
I feel good… once I finish it, I’m going to start it all over again and increase my try to listen to everything in spanish…
Thk god… for internet tv!

I’m going to say that I need two or three more months of hardcore studying and I’ll be pretty fluent in spanish and I’m moving to california soon next month and there is a lot of spanish people living where I’ll be, I’m hoping to be fluent enough to be able to carry a conversation with someone one day ( soon ;) ).

Mexico was great, the people are sooo nice :) and helpful.
I have to admit that I’m pretty happy with myself, just a few months ago all I could understand of spanish was “Hola! Adios! Si.. no..”
Now I can understand most of the time when people are speaking to me..
I have a harder time talking, since I’m not used to talking fully by thinking on my own. On the Rosetta stone programme up until now I’ve only repeated conversations and words. Its not the same thing as someone asking you random questions and having to answer back…it isn’t always easy, I have to think about every word and it makes me talk very s.l.o.w. at times… :P

Necesito mucho de la práctica!

I finished the level 2 in unit 3…

I’m going to finish level 3 today!

I finished level 1 of lesson 3. I’m going to start level 2 today… I hope I’ll be done today with it, if not i’ll do half today and the other half tomorrow.
Yesterday all night I watched one of my old time fav cartoons for kids! I watched like 14 episodes all in spanish. I was pretty surprised but I could actually understand some of the time other time they talked to fast :)
I’m going to start watching as much as I can in spanish to hear it more!

Today I finished my lesson 2! I’m going to finish the fisrt level of lesson 3 tonight :)

I’m doing good on this goal… :) I’m almost done with level 2…
I want to start listening to my cds also on top of working on rosetta stone.. to be imerged in spanish as much as I can. I want to be like a sponge and absorb the language!
