I have been kayaking like it was a drug. I am truely an addict. It only took one time and I was hooked. It can be very physical and relaxing, depending on where I choose to go kayaking that day. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!

I have been taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator. Three flights, then down a long hall, and up another three flights. I am usually out of breath by the time I get up to my floor, but eventually (I hope) It will be like walking up only one flight.
O.K., I biked! It can be so hard when I don’t have a set schedule so I can stick with being more active. But I took my bike out the other day. And I flew two of my kites out at the park. So I guess a little activity is better then none! And it is a good start to something bigger I hope!
I was a wee skinny little thing before I went back to school. I have gained an amazing 25lbs in the 4 years I have been in nursing school. Being in school really took out alot of time that I used to go out and do things that were active. Sitting at a desk for 4 years did my body no justice!!!! So my goal is just to get up and get moving….for starters anyway.
