messin' wit me!

I went to the store, parked my bike, and started to walk away. I must have turned around cuz I heard a crow caw (didn’t really put much thought into it).
I didn’t see anything, so I truned around again & then I was more cognizant that I hear d it again; so I turned around and looked just a little more closely – just a little longer.
I didn’t see anything, so I went to walk into the store again and when I turned my back heard him caw at me a third time and I was like, “He’s messing with me!”
So I turned around and started to walk his way and saw him take off flying.

I never thought a bird could be smart

(especially a bird with a bad reputation!)
But when I found out they were smart I was hooked.
