Go on a date with my wife

It has been sooooo long since I gave my wife the kind of attention I used to give her when we were dating. Along came the children and the next thing I know, we’re all about our kids and have very little time for each other.
This year I’ve resolved to focus on her and her emotions to rekindle what once was a burning flame.
I didn’t realize how much self sacrifice was involved, but I’m beginning to find satisfaction in doing for her as I once did so long ago.
I guess love is better expressed when given freely without selfish motives. (I must be getting old.) :-)
