Finish a song at least once a month

I think this could be something with a bit of beat reworking and rearranging. Probably not in a week, though, which is the periodic deadline set by this goal.

I have the main tracks for a song done. It’s a mellow, mostly non-guitar one. I need to do a solo, write lyrics, and do vocals. Which could, of course, take a really long time.

One song 50% done, two songs 25% done, one song complete to an indeterminate degree. Things are looking grim finishing something this week.

I chipped away at the choir song again last night. I gave up on adding strings because I can’t avoid making it too soundtrackish when I do that, and I decided to not make this second section a dramatic departure from the first. I came up with something that’s just choir and organ again, and it sounds more natural in context. However, I might later decide that that’s boring. My own flip-flopping infuriates me.

I just realized this afternoon I didn’t put anything out in July. So, I’m going to defintely get one out in the next two weeks so I don’t miss August as well.
