It lead me to the “Learn how to set healthier boundaries.” resolution for the new year. It’s really hard having two moms under the same roof. Even though technically we do have two separate homes living in a duplex sometimes it can seem like one. I’m still reeling a bit but am proud to report that I rose above the emotional cesspool and pulled it all together for the kids. They don’t even seem to realize that there are still some after-shocks (ie: mom took down her x-mas tree and if you knew my mom you’d understand what that means) taking place so I guess I did a good enough job. I’m praying that I just keep doing the next right thing. I really want to resolve this.

I choose to be happy.
It’s been awhile since I have been through my list of goals. Today the kids are sleeping and my Michael is on his way to pick up Cinderellie (our cat) from being spayed. We inherited her from my daughter (pregnant) and after one batch of kittens, cute as they might be, decided this was best. So, with this time on my hands I thought it would be best to catch up on my goals. Times have been tough. It has been hard to hold my head up at moments. Though I have been blessed with a wonderful family and some God-sent friends that have helped to start to look at things in a more positive light it has been awhile since I conscientiously said the words to myself. Happiness is a choice. Happiness IS a choice. Man, I love this site!
There have been several things that if I allowed myself to dwell on would cause me deep depression. However, I have chose to focus on the things that were going my way and look upon the things that were not going my way as challenges I must over-come. I have put it all in His hands and He has made sure that all our needs have been met. And the church said: God is good, all the time!
We got so much done and have still not turned on the t.v.! Michael has left for school and I’m fending off my grandson (who wants to play pirates of the Caribbean)in order to get caught up on my 43 things.
happiness is a choice. I believe it is a life-style. So, I am choosing to live a happy life.
