and Nate almost has all the grommets in. Now what is left is to string the wire and get the shade cloth strung. I am really hoping that this will give my garden some relief from the heat this summer. Last summer was so horrible because of the heat. Crossing our fingers and saying some prayers.

Those were the last items needed for the project. Now my mom is going to hem up the sides. It’ll take her a couple of weeks to get all five of the strips done. Once that is done it will only be a matter of getting the wire strung across the garden and the shade cloth hung.
It’s been decided that it should be raised from paper to reality. We have all the shade material. All we need now is the wire, hoops and the odd doohickeys that end up being needed. We’re not going to put it up till the end of June. It’s always like that around here. We come up with a project, plan it out and buy everything needed as we can. It is a great way to get things done on a budget.
