I feel safe in assuming that because of who I am...  — 4 days ago

and how I am living my life that I will not only be remembered; I will be remembered fondly! I believe that who I am does make a difference and that it is a difference for the better. It’s good to be me!

In contemplating this I've realized that I want to be remembered...  — 3 months ago

for the things I’m doing now rather then what I did as a young mother. Can we make up for the past? I don’t know. I doubt it. I do believe that we can change the future however.

I want to be rmembered for...  — 5 months ago

1. Being a Godly woman.
2. Being a woman that was lucky enough to be loved by a wonderful man; therefore proving that love does indeed conquer all.
3. Being a loving and patient mother who loved her children more then herself.
4. A woman of integrity and a loyal friend.
5. A woman who had something to say and contribute to the world around her.
6. A woman who passed her good fortune forward.
7. A woman who had a forgiving heart.
8. A woman that committed many random acts of kindness.
9. A woman that stood for something a didn’t fall for anything.
10. A woman with a great sense of humor and the ablity to laugh at herself.

My Grandma Roberts will be remembered by many people.  — 9 months ago

I wish she could have met my daughter Sarah or my grandson Austin. She’s Austin’s Great Great Grandma and Sarah’s Great Grandma. I guess it will be my responsibility to make sure that they will remember her through the stories that I tell them about her. Here’s to the stories that my grandchildren will tell their grandchildren about her and me for that matter. There are some wonderful stories to tell about her. I want to insure that there are some wonderful stories to tell about me as well. Here’s to leaving it better then we found it.

My nieces and nephews have been spending a lot of time with us.  — 9 months ago

I missed so much of their younger years that I’m cherishing the memories that we’re making together now. I know that when they are grown and I’m old or gone they will remember me and how much I loved them.

When I was very young, my grandmother told me, "Live your life as you would like to be remembered on your tombstone"  — 10 months ago

I decided what I wanted on my tombstone at an early age.

“My life was better because of knowing her.”

Simple or tough? It’s a little of both.
It makes things much simpler knowing that I have to be kind and help to improve other’s lives, in order to have left things better then I found them. It’s tougher because you have to put yourself out there in order to make a difference. That is the scary part. However, I want to believe that 100 years from now, the world will be a better place because of the fact that I was here now, doing what I could to make it better. If I help my children, and their friends and my friends, etc. to make each day better for them and those around them, how can it not pay off for those who have yet to come?
