We sometimes had a group of deaf people come into the coffee shop where I used to work, and I always felt really bad that I didn’t even know the simplest of sign language to communicate with.
It just seems like common courtesy, so I really want to learn, but there is only so far you can go without proper instruction. Might look into courses over the summer but until I can decide what I’m actually doing more than a month or so in the future I can’t really commit to a proper course.
So…uhh yeah. Does anyone know of some good (free) online resources where I can try and learn a little basic British sign language, before I can get onto a proper course?
