learn to swing dance

I ordered a dance video that looks really good so far. DH and I know some of the basic steps but it will be fun to progress. We will definitely be able to go dancing after just finishing part 1 of the video. Unfortunately, I live in the sticks so there may not be anywhere to go.

Well this went down the drain a bit. The class I was going to take was actually jive, not swing, so I didn’t go. I did order a learn to swing type video off ebay and have been practicing a bit of what I know at home.

I learned the Charleston! It’s so fun!

I want to learn to swing dance to keep me busy so I don’t get homesick, to make me laugh coz it’s so much fun, and to help my husband lose weight. We have Bible Class on Thursdays which happens to be when the only class is on within an hour of us, but next Thursday there is no class so we can go! Then once a month on Saturdays is a free-style jive night. August 26th is the next one so we must go.
