increase my vocabulary

i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to become more articulate in my speech. i have trouble describing situations and events. i would love to gain a better vocabulary and better public speaking skills. i want to improve at writing too. i want to be able to describe to someone exactly how i feel. i’ve had the privelege the past week at a human rights class to hear holocaust and rwandan survivors tell their spellbinding stories. I was blown away. Granted they have quite a story to tell, but i have a story to tell too, i just don’t know the words to say it.

i want to do this to help my writing. so that i can describe exact moments without hesitation and stop using the same boring lingo. i was reading a stephen king book for fun and my new words are serene – calm and disingenuous – untruthful
