My PC is halfway through its 4th work unit, something in the GROMACS core. This one is 5000 frames.

My PC has finally completed one work unit – I got something to start with that had 4000 frames, so it took awhile. We were gone over the weekend, so I shut down all my apps but left the PC running – only to find it was off when we returned home. My husband knew I generally turn the PCs off when we are gone, so had shut mine down for me. Oh well. It’s about 1/2 way through its second work unit, this one had only 400 frames.

Why shouldn’t my PC do some work for the good of humankind? Maybe your’s should too. Check it out.
