so as sketchy as this sounds, i took the plunge and went to a lesbian bar in dc alone a couple times in hopes of making some new lezzie friends. and wouldn’t ya know, it was only sketchy making the trip over there from where i live…and the rest was a shit ton of fun! i did indeed meet some cool cool girls, as well as get the low down on the scene in dc (which, apparently, is NOT at the bar i went to). i definitely made a special lady friend the last time i went…
oh, and even better than i expected – i ran into two of my les friends from college (they also graduated in may) on the street right by my apartment. turns out they’re moving to dc, and now that i have a better knowledge of the scene, i think we’ll have a blast exploring it together!!
