improve my spanish

Last night I got my marks back for the first assignment and I got 85% which is the beginning of the distinction bracket, so i’m over the moon with how my languages are improving.

Now to get on with the textbooks as I have a tutorial tomorrow and I want to show my tutor a real improvement in the flow of my speech.

Just had another tutorial and this time I really felt my confidence to try had improved, even if my technical ability is still a bit ropey! I’m almost ahead in the textbooks which will give me plenty of time to work on the first assessment, which is due on march the 18th.

The course is going ok but as i’m one of, if not THE, weakest person in the class i’m having to really put over and above the hours in just to scrape by. Hopefully i’ll get better and this pressure will ease off.

I’ve enrolled on a Spanish course so when (if) I pass that I shall mark this goal as complete.

I’m off to Chile in four weeks and struggled today to remember words I know I used to know. I still have all my textbooks and CDs so this will be a month of recapping and hopefully improving my Spanish enough to mark this off as done :)
