read every book I own

Since I last posted an entry to this goal i’ve bought many more books and not got rid of enough. I’m going to be very strict about this now and not allow myself to buy any more fiction until I can honestly say i’ve made a dent in the pile I already have.

I’m currently working my way through the Bond books and am up to Diamonds Are Forever.

I’m already going to qualify this to cut down on a lot of books! Really it is the ever increasing piles of fiction books that I need to get on top of, and I need to stop buying more everytime i’m in work (a charity shop with an endless stream of wonderful, cheap books). So I won’t be counting my old textbooks and foreign language dictionaries/grammar books, for obvious reasons :)

I will also be trying to donate the books to my charity shop, or releasing them via bookcrossing, rather than hoarding them for eternity never to be shared with another human being. My poor books :P I will find it hard to let go of them though.
