At the point of this entry on 22nd July 2006, I am able to communicate in very basic Malay with native speakers, with fractured grammar and syntax. While this is sufficient for occupational purposes, I would like to be able to use Malay more competently.
Perhaps I should begin with reading some simple Malay books targeted towards primary school students.
