make collages

made a collage last nite for the girl scout’s pinning ceremony. Well, not so much a collage as just pictures on posterboard, but I cut them fancy and stuff. :) It came out really cute, I think!

Here it is, so far. Tho it’s not glued down yet, so the pieces aren’t joined exactly as they will be…..I’m having some difficulty with the adhesion process, because of the layers. Things are ‘weaved’ in and out, so I can’t just glue one thing down all at once. I have to do it in bits and it’s sometimes difficult figuring out which parts to start on!
I did send in the form to enter it in the annual judged art exhibit for this year’s autumn festival. So we’ll see how that goes!

Making a flower collage from photos I’ve taken. It’s going to be a present for Donna but I also might enter it in the art show for the Autumn Festival in town.

I’ve done this in the past, but I have a huge pile of magazines that I’ve saved over the years and I need to go thru them and cut out the bits that I want and start making collages again!
I like making collages on the computer toooooo. Here’s one I made a long time ago! It was my desktop background for a while.
