buy my first house

Easy enough. Two days of looking and I found the house. We’re finalizing the contract tonight and I should be able to lock in a rate under 5% tomorrow. Yay!!

Yay! Pre approved for $190000. Not bad for a single 20 something. Not going to buy anywhere near that amount, but still impressive.

My realtor is taking me to look at some houses this weekend. Who knows…maybe I’ll be walking into my future first home this Saturday!

I’ve been working on this goal for three years now. I keep getting ready and then getting cold feet. I have issues about waking up everyday knowing it will be mostly like the day before. I’ve come a long way since then , though so I’m finally ready.

I met with me sister (works at 5/3 bank) to get my loan pre approval and she even gave me some Realtors she trusts in my area. Now I just have to find a house.

Procrastinating worked in the end because now I’ll get an $8000 home buyer credit that wasn’t available three years ago and prices are more reasonable.
