I Need To Change This

I’m not sure how to change this goal from “run everyday” to “run three times a week” or “run more often,” but for now, I’m going to consider it one of those as I really don’t see running every day as feasible for my current situation. I don’t want to delete this goal, either, since I’ve already written some entries about it.

So, from now on, I’m going to count this goal as being fulfilled if I end up running at least three days a week.



Three Days in a Row

I didn’t run as soon as I got up today because we had to get ready for our cook-out, but once that was over, I went for my run and I ran the entire way this time. I’m still out of shape, but I’m getting there. :-)



Two Days in a Row

I’m feeling really good right now. I’ve gone out running for two days in a row and I’m hoping that I can make this a daily habit again. I had been running every other day for about a year, but I let job stresses wear me down and it’s been over two years since the last time I’ve run for consecutive days.



I'm finally working on this again.

I let it lapse for way too long. Before today, the last time I’d gone running was on my 42nd birthday, way over a year ago. Because I’ve gotten so out of shape, I could only run about a mile this time, but I’m going to see if I can do a little every day until I’m back up to running five miles a pop again.
