...from the mini-library at my parents’. (“Mini-library” just means it doesn’t contain more than several hundred books, a.k.a. only takes up three or four bookcases. That’s a reasonable definition, isn’t it? Anyway, it seems reasonable to my brain … It’s not like it’s the size of the public library, or even takes up an entire room. ;)) Writing books often get my brain going back on the right tracks, which happened only a couple of pages past the foreword to Christopher Vogler’s The Writer’s Journey. I always seem to think of The Novel when I brainstorm randomly (that is, the first one I started, although there are others to work on, too, so it isn’t really THE novel in the singular sense ;)), and this time is no exception.
I’ve been thinking of plotting a personal NoWriMo soon. One good NoWriMo and this thing will probably be finished; and once I have momentum built up, I won’t necessarily need the NoWriMo motivation to finish.
New brainstorming is good. :D
