...last week. It was in a box of unspun fibers and I took it back out and started spinning it again. I’m nearly done with it and am using it as recreational spinning in between finishing skeins for my Etsy shop.
I don’t think I’m ever going to actually spin my entire stash, as that would be rather silly and temporary unless I gave up spinning … but the heart of this goal is that I want to keep the stash moving more, and have real plans for it, rather than letting it sit and wait and accumulate. I’m doing okay right now with spinning more than I have been, but I don’t want to jinx myself. Ha. ;)
...sort of. ;) My drum carder has been here for a bit, and I’ve been posting entries about it under other goals, but I do think it’s funny that in order to spin up my fiber stash, I need to make more spinnable fiber first. Hee. ;D
I finally went and ordered that roving carder … Here’s hoping it gets along with me and I can finally start processing all that fleece sitting around waiting to be dyed and sold. I’ll save some of it to spin, too, of course, but I could use the extra cash flow toward my bank account, so I hope the darn thing gets here soon, so I can start playing with the fibers I already have washed, and washing yet more. :D
