using a laptop 4 years ago

After borrowing a laptop from work for the occasional rendevous with free Wi-Fi at a local cafe, I’ve found that a laptop is an invaluable tool. Just escaping my desk, finding another venue to work at with new scenery can really help me focus and work.

I think that it is better for me, since I tend to be more introverted and public places turn me inside which can be much better for my work when I need to focus. So, If I can chooose where that work takes place then it frees me to work—not to goof off.
