Wath The Arts & Faith Top100 Spiritually Significant Films

I just watched Dogville last night. I’m not sure what to say about it. It was philsophically interesting and cleverly used a non-descript, rural town as the vehicle for introspection into the way humans deal with fear, rejection, hate, evil. It showed how we often times rationalize ourselves in to being evil, despicable beings with a “harmless” dressing and allow others to do the same.

Because of the world being so self-righteous and blind, is the wrath of God coming to us, like it did to Dogville?

I’ve only seen 31/100 of the movies so far.

I think what I’m going to do is every time I rent a movie I’m going to have a print out of this list with me so I can choose a movie only from this list (or my Top 100 american movies list). This way it will help me focus on finishing my goal.
