I am now what I would consider proficient in Arabic. I am taking a content course in Arabic in which I read high-level academic tests, and my speaking is at a really high level. One step closer to my career!

It’s really hard and because of that I like it a lot. I am definitely learning better time management taking a lot of hard courses, but Arabic is exciting because I feel like I am learning a quantifiable skill. I’ll check this off at the end of the semester, though I plan to take at least four semesters of it.
only phoenetically, at this point. I don’t need to understand what I’m saying, I just want to learn the characters and how they sound.
